It still will not hold a charge, and it is my only means of transportation. I had the alternator and battery replaced, all fuses and connections checked, and all cables and terminals checked. The "service stabilitrack, front camera and all wheel drive" warning lights were all flashing in sequence as was the battery light on the dash and the "charging system" warning. He followed and a block before home the car killed again! he jumped it again and I got it home. I was about 3/4 mile from home and he unhooked the cables and said "go! go!" so I raced toward home. I called a friend who came and jumped the car. A man gave me a jump and the car ran roughly without power for about 2 min. It got very cold very quick! after trying and trying 15 min later the doors unlocked. Did I mention I live in mn and the temp was -9 (31 below windchill) and I was stuck in my car. Now the doors were locked and I could not unlock them. I was now on a slight incline so I barely made it into gas station and before I could park the car stalled again. I was in the intersection so I quickly put it in park and the car restarted, but had very little power. The light turned green and I pushed on the accelerator, and there was little or no power and the car killed. Upon pushing down on the brake pedal the radio shut off and the dash started flashing all of the lights very rapidly. I was driving my Equinox coming up on a red traffic light. It was so dangerous, I could of easily caused accidents for others and myself and also could have been fatal! next time you’re on the highway, close your eyes and keep driving-it was the same and scared me to the point that I was shaking!!! thank god I didn’t have my grandkids with me!!. Every 4 or 5 blocks had to stop and get out to physically move wipers by hand to clear rain water from windshield in order to drive further. Stopped to confirm wipers would not work and to move wipers by hand to clear windshield. Couldn’t see detail so ended up running over yellow barriers then made it to the right turn and was barely able to make out a driveway which was a starbucks. Had to travel over the highway on the overpass and needed to turn right. I put my right blinker on and slowly moved to the slow lane in order to take the next exit off the highway. I could not see and could not even follow the rear taillights in front of me to stay in my lane. I was traveling hwy 80 and the wipers stopped working completely in a downpour of rain at 70 mph. The windshield wipers and yes, available at anytime for inspection. This vehicle has some of the same problems and we have a toddler that we need to keep safe. We had a 2017 chevy malibu with multiple issues and spoke to Chevrolet about the issues and it wasn't until we traded it in that we started to receive the recall notices. I have also seen the recalls for the brake problems but when I enter my VIN it comes back all clear. Multiple times while driving the radio and power to the car just turn off. The electrical in the vehicle is unstable. 9 gallons and if the car is empty and on its last drop the car will only allow 12 gallons at best and that takes nearly 20 minutes of fighting with the car at the pump.
We have spoken and seen now multiple others complaining about the fueling system which does not alloe you to fill the gas tank up all the way. It is now causing the vehicle to have a check engine light that comes and goes as it pleases and the car now thinks that it is a bucking bronco at times with how hard it runs at times now. The car was serviced literally towards the end of may and the brake assist service light keeps turning on. Something is wrong with the brake assist system. The dealer still has the car.Īll problems of the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox Danger and safety was the car was stuck in the middle of the street and partial in the parking space, making it dangerous for continued traffic and potential accident. Brought the car new 2022 Equinox, and this happen with 10, 385 miles on the car. We did not have any problems prior to this nor any warning signs. After researching esc lights on Equinox, complaints and concerns has been reported since 2018 on Equinox models. Dealer said they have not seen this before. Call the tow truck and it was towed to the dealer with engine running and lights still on. Was afraid to take foot off brakes since the car would not cut off engine. The car would not move forward, reversed, nor could I cut off the engine. Then the car locked up with lights appeared on the dashboard, engine light comes on, esc and car with wiggly lines. The car position was half in the parking space and half way in traffic. The car moved a couple of inches out of the parking space.
The car was parked, started up to pull out of the parking space, preceded to back up.
